Shelley Nunes
Shelley joined her former partner Craig Meister in his accounting firm in 2014 and together they formed Meister & Nunes, PC in April of 2016. Upon Craig’s retirement, Shelley assumed the role of President and CEO of the corporation. Shelley oversees all operations of the business and her responsibilities include tax preparation and review, bookkeeping, payroll processing, other tax reporting, and overall management. She enjoys working with and meeting new people who also find joy and happiness living and working in their small town community. Shelley and her husband David enjoy the beach, mountains, and friends, and most of all enjoy the time they get to spend with their three beautiful grandchildren.

Teryn Dhillon
Teryn is a Staff Accountant at Meister & Nunes, PC and joined the company in 2017. She graduated from California State University Monterey Bay in 2016 with a degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. Teryn’s responsibilities include client communication, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and tax preparation. She loves getting to work with our clients and being a part of the town where her parents grew up. When not at work, Teryn enjoys spending time with her husband Tim and their two young daughters, Tia and Taelynn.

Deanna Valle
Deanna joined Meister & Nunes in 2017 as Office Manager. After a 30 year career in the banking industry, Deanna welcomed the small, hometown feel of the accounting office! Her primary responsibilities include payroll processing, bookkeeping, tax preparation and the overall day to day tasks that ensure the office flows smoothly. As a lifelong Carpinterian and with her extensive background in customer service, she especially enjoys the interaction with so many clients, both local and from outside of the area. When not at the office, Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband Joe and kids Lauren, Cameron & Brian, especially if it involves traveling and amazing food!
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR
Mary Ann Colson
Mary Ann retired from the City of Carpinteria as Finance Supervisor in 2008 after 30 years of employment. She joined Craig Meister, CPA in 2013, which later became Meister & Nunes, PC. Mary Ann works part-time throughout the year, but mainly during tax season. Her primary responsibilities include greeting clients, answering phones, logging in and monitoring the flow of client tax returns through completion, and keeps the office running smoothly. She is always willing to assist where needed. During the off season, Mary Ann enjoys spending time with her husband Jim. Together they enjoy hiking, walking and traveling. She also enjoys family time with her two daughters Samantha and Krista, and especially her five grandchildren.
